Established in 1978, G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital is a more than 270-bed, short-term, intensive care facility that serves adult and geriatric patients above the age of 16. It offers care services for the residents of more than 30 counties in South Carolina. G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital provides a variety of behavioral health care and therapeutic services for patients. Each of its bedrooms includes a wardrobe, dresser and bathroom. The hospital offers special facilities for individuals with disabilities. Its amenities feature an atrium, outdoor patio, family meeting room and nurses' station. In addition, G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital provides patient education, chaplaincy, and counseling and training services. The hospital is operated by the Columbia Behavioral Health System.
