Located in Jackson, Miss., Galloway Elementary School serves approximately 400 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It was named in honor of Charles Betts Galloway, who was a native of Kosciusko, Miss. Galloway Elementary School s amenities include a computer laboratory, cafeteria, sports field, library, administrative offices, over 20 classrooms, and art and music rooms. The school has a staff of more than 60 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a counselor, librarian, nurse, speech therapist, literacy coach, music professional, physical education instructor, gifted and talented education teachers and custodians. Galloway Elementary School is a part of the Jackson Public School District, which operates nearly 60 educational institutions.
