Office of the Dean is a part of Georgetown College, which is one of the largest Catholic institutions within Georgetown University in the United States. Founded in 1789, the college s academic curriculum includes fine arts, humanities, languages, sciences and social sciences. It has been listed among the leading institutions dedicated to community services by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Georgetown College operates Georgetown College Americas Initiative and the Berkley Center. The college offers more than 30 majors, over 40 minors and nearly five certificate programs in American music culture, Arabic, French, German and environmental studies. Georgetown College also hosts a range of special events for parents and families.
