Oil and gas companies use GeoTomo s software to significantly reduce the risk and cost of finding and producing hydrocarbons. Geophysical engineering companies use it to see buried objects or near-surface layers. The company has released 10 software products since 2000. These include the packages for seismic survey design and modeling, tomostatics solutions, seismic data analysis, cross-hole seismic data processing, VSP model building and 3-D seismic visualization. GeoTomo was founded in Louisville, Colo., in 1998 and relocated to Houston in 2000.
