Gilbert Elementary School has a staff of more than 55 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes classroom teachers, instructional aides, nurses, health clerks, librarians, nurses, psychologists, speech therapists, and art and music professionals. It is a part of the Garden Grove Unified School District, which operates over 65 educational institutions with a combined enrollment of nearly 48,800 students. Located in Garden Grove, Calif., Gilbert Elementary School organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as picture days, book fairs, back-to-school nights, skate nights, Spaghetti dinners and Red Ribbon Weeks. The school maintains a school site council and parent-teacher association. Gilbert Elementary School offers educational services to approximately 655 students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
