Gilbert Public Schools serves the educational needs of students through elementary, middle and high schools. It governs various schools, including Carol Rae Ranch, Finley Farms Elementary, South Valley Junior High, Mesquite Junior High School, Desert Ridge High School and Highland High School. Located in Gilbert, Ariz., the school district enrolls more than 35,000 students. It curriculum comprises math, English, science, computer education, physical instruction, fine arts and social studies.
