Global Martial Arts Academy specializes in age specific Martial Arts training. Our student to instructor ratio is best in the area! All of our instructors are highly trained adult professionals and our facility is state of the art. The majority of our students come from Carroll County and Baltimore County, Maryland. As well as surrounding areas including southern PA. We use results oriented curriculum to target proper development like no other sport or activity. Through our programs, our students experience positive growth both physically and intellectually. Additionally, our students also experience improved emotional awareness and better social skills. As for our customer service, it is second to none!

Global Martial Arts Academy is different from other schools in the area in a number of ways. We have been teaching in the Carroll County area forover 20 yearsand offer well over100 years of cumulative experience!We are the only school in the area withage and belt specific classeswith aflexible schedule. We primarily teach the art of Hapkido, which is a multifaceted, self-defense based, effective martial art. We also incorporate training in Jujitsu, Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and others. All Instructors are certified adult Black Belts in HapKiDo, with most of them 2nd, 3rd and 4th Degree black belts! This translates into 6yrs, 9yrs, and 15yrs minimum experience repectfully. Each Instructor has trained from white belt through Black Belt here at our school under the supervision of Master Joe Borucki, 6th Dan. Allinstructors are at least 18 years oldand receive weekly Instructor training. At our school, there areNO kids teaching kids! Global Martial Arts is a member of four different consulting groups - each giving us the latest professional techniques to teach and train our students to the highest level! Our school is backed by theUnited States Korean Marital Arts Federation (USKMAF) - an internationally recognized organization whose goal is to set higher standards for Korean Martial Arts in the U.S.
