Established in 1968, Gold Cross Ambulance is an emergency dispatch center. It provides 24-hour emergency medical transport services to the citizens of Utah. The center operates a fleet of more than 65 ambulances, as well as a specialty van. Gold Cross Ambulance also offers emergency medical technician training and educational programs for individuals. The center is certified by the National Academics of Emergency Dispatch, which is a nonprofit organization that promotes safe and effective emergency dispatch services throughout the world. Its staff includes emergency medical technicians and dispatchers, paramedics, mechanics and patient account representatives. Gold Cross Ambulance is located in Salt Lake City.
