It is located in Chicago, and the company s 215,000-square-foot distribution center is in the heart of the wholesale food district. The distribution center handles both walk-in customers as well as the shipping of truckloads and container loads to points throughout the Midwest and North America. Golden Country carries more than 4,000 dry and frozen products from Asia, Africa and the Caribbean, most of which are imported directly from manufacturers. It imports directly from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, Jamaica and the Philippines.
