For this he was awarded the GOLDEN HAMMER Merit on November 15, 1977. The award reads FOR SKILLFUL USE OF HAMMER AND HEART IN THE CAUSE OF THE SELF-HELP HOUSING PROGRAM. The name GOLDEN HAMMER, since then, has been associated with a family owned and operated remodeling company. Erected on the values and principles for which our founding father was originally awarded. Hard work, integrity, and social responsibility.
