Since 1914, the Golden Valley Golf and Country Club has been a leader in the Twin Cities and the Greater Minneapolis area when it comes to hospitality, food and beverage and event management. The Golden Valley legend began way back in 1914, when 30 men got together to purchase more than 160 acres of pasture, farmland and low rolling hills with Bassett Creek winding through it. A.W. Tillinghast, one of the leading golf course architects in the country, developed Golden Valley, the only Tillinghast-designed course in this area. The club also offers tennis and swimming facilities and programs.
