Established in 1973, The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society is a Christian social ministry organization that provides shelter and support services to older people in need. Operating more than 230 locations throughout the United States, the organization offers various housing options, such as senior living, assisted living, long-term care, home care and nursing with rehabilitation. Based in Albuquerque, N.M., it also offers Alzheimer's care, hospice care, sub acute care and inpatient therapy services. Therapy services include intravenous (IV) therapy, massage/restorative therapy, music/recreation therapy and respiratory/wound vacuum therapy. The society operates The Good Samaritan Foundation that offers many channels for gift annuities and charitable trust.
