Founded in 1914, the Grace Lutheran Church, also informally known as 'the Pancake Church' is a Christian congregation practicing worship, study, stewardship, service, fellowship and witness. Based in Phoenix, Ariz., it serves a weekly pancake breakfast to the homeless and reaches out primarily to the single male members of the homeless population in downtown Phoenix. The church conducts weekly traditional/contemporary services along with Sunday School, Bible education and an annual Christmas youth program. The Grace Lutheran Church has ministries for children, families, the youth, worship/music, congregational life and hospitality as well as outreach.
