Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics provides various training and research opportunities leading to graduate degrees in applied linguistics and development of languages. Located in Dallas, the institute provides advanced courses in linguistics, sociolinguistics, literacy, language survey and anthropology. It offers various spring courses, including a nine-unit literacy course. Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics also provides a certificate program in applied linguistics.
