Founded in 1979, Green Run High School spreads across an area of more than 247,000 feet. Located in Virginia Beach, Va., the school s academic curriculum includes mathematics, science, English, social studies, fine arts, marketing and computer science, as well as foreign languages. Green Run High School also provides opportunities for various sports activities, including football, golf, volleyball, softball, tennis, soccer, wrestling and basketball. The school operates an athletic booster club and conducts various events. In addition, the school maintains a parent-teacher association. It employs a nurse, counselors and teachers.
