Greyston Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of community development services. It serves more than 2,200 members. The foundation works to support low-income individuals and their families. Greyston Foundation provides employment, workforce development, housing, health care and youth services. It works in collaboration with the Beczak Environmental Educational Center, Affordable Housing Development Corporation, Calvert Foundation, College of New Rochelle and Empire State Development Corporation. The foundation offers various after-school programs that focus on recreational activities for children between the ages of 5 and 14. Greyston Foundation operates the Greyston Child Care Center. It additionally operates the Maitri Center, which offers a variety of support services to people with HIV/AIDS.
