Meet Ken Krajeski and Settie Safa, owners and operators of your local Griswold Home care office. Ken has over twenty-five years of executive level experience in various disciplines of business. He has worked in economic development with Native American tribes and served in various positions including CEO and Board positions. Ken is a widower after twenty five years of marriage. His late wife suffered from breast cancer for many years. Ken was her full-time caregiver until she lost the battle and died in July of 2007. This gave him a profound experience that led him to helping those in need of care. Settie has over twenty-eight years of experience in the corporate world that led her to starting her own marketing and printing businesses. Settie cared for her Dad for many years, who eventually died from cancer several years ago, while also raising her children. As a member of the Sandwich Generation, Settie understands the impact caregiving has on the lives of others and how home care can lessen the burden and stress that families may feel when caring for a loved one. Both Ken’s and Settie’s individual experiences reawakened their compassion to help those in need. As a result, Ken and Settie fulfilled their mutual concern while volunteering at a local center that cared for the elderly and disabled. Realizing the impact they had as volunteers, Ken and Settie found their passion in home care and look forward to serving the Bellevue-Washington community.
