Founded in 1967, Guadalupe Alternative Programs is a nonprofit human services agency that serves adults. The agency offers services to more than 700 people annually through alternative junior and senior high schools and adult education programs. It also provides family and student support services. Guadalupe Alternative Programs is fully accredited and is a member of the Metropolitan Federation of Alternative Schools and the Minnesota Association of Alternative Programs. The agency participates in various cultural ceremonies and traditions. It offers the English as a Second Language program and literacy classes. The agency provides individual case management services, as well as after-school activities in the areas of academic tutoring, recreation, arts, culture, computers and leadership.
