He was awarded Association of Corporate Counsels of America (Houston) Scholarship, and received Best Student Awards in Legal Memo, Appellate Brief, Lawyering Process, Law of Torts, and three CALI Awards. He is licensed by the State Bar of Nevada, United States District Court, and United States Bankruptcy Court, and trained as a Mediator for the Nevada Mandatory Foreclosure Program. Before setting up private law practice he was a Legal Counselor at the United Nations (UNHCR).
