Gulf Coast Mental Health Center is a full-service community mental health center that provides mental health care services to the residents of Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River and Stone counties in Mississippi. It offers various services for children and adolescent with developmental disabilities that includes crisis intervention and inpatient care. Its community support services include after care follow-up program, case management program, psychosocial rehabilitation, residential care, crisis stabilization and education. Its substance abuse services include outpatient individual and group therapies, intensive chemical dependency therapy, outpatient care and a 20-hour state-certified program. The representatives of Gulf Coast Mental Health Center work with the media, speak to civic and community organizations and present workshops on a variety of topics to educate people.
