GulfMark Energy is a subsidiary of Adams Resources & Energy. It purchases crude oil and arranges sales and deliveries for refiners and other customers. The company acquires crude oil from independent producers in Texas, Louisiana and Michigan. It purchases more than 65,000 barrels of oil every day. It operates more than 70 tractor-trailer units and maintains over 50 pipeline inventory locations and injection points in the United States. In addition, the company barges oil from several oil storage facilities along the intercoastal waterway of Texas and Louisiana.
