Gulf State Park is a state park resort operated by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The park is spread over a more than 6000-acre area that features an 18-hole golf course and over 900-acre lake. It offers several tennis courts, picnic areas, cottages, cabins, trails, fishing piers and fish-cleaning stations. Gulf State Park s campground houses an activity center that offers wireless Internet access services. Its pavilion hosts family and group outings, reunions, beach parties and sunset weddings. The park features a range of activities, including fishing, swimming, waterskiing, camping and boating. Gulf State Park is located in Gulf Shores, Ala.
