Located in Minneapolis, the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian, human service agency that protects, maintains, strengthens and enhances individuals and families and their social and psychological functioning. The agency develops and makes services available to people that will strengthen the family units, encourage stability in living arrangements and provide specialized care. In addition, it offers protective services to children and at-risk adults. The Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity also offers information to the general public regarding its programs and services and maintains adequate knowledge of community services to act as a referral source. It additionally provides mental health and drug- and alcohol-level assessment and treatment services.
