Informations
Hale House Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building better futures for children and families in need in New York City, N.Y. Founded in 1969, the organization has offered a support network for generations of families through educational programming and parent and child support services. The location provides 24-hour infant and toddler residential care, developmental childcare programs, supportive housing, family stabilization efforts and community outreach. The Mother Hale Learning Center will open in the summer of 2005, to provide educational childcare program curriculum for physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. The organizations roots developed as early as the 1940s, when Mother Clara Hale began taking children into her home to provide daycare for two dollars per week.
