Hamilton House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Columbus, Ga., is a 125-bed skilled nursing facility that offers long- and short-term nursing care and rehabilitation services. The short-term transitional care is provided in a specialized transitional care unit designed and staffed for short-term rehabilitation therapy needs of postacute care patients. The unit is a single level 15-bed facility providing patients access to dining, leisure activities and therapy services in one location. The center provides specialized and intensive inpatient treatment and therapy for short periods following acute care hospitalization. The rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapies. The patients are offered private and semiprivate rooms.
