Hannegan s, located in Laclede s Landing in St. Louis, is a full-service restaurant that features lunch and dinner menus, live entertainment, banquet rooms and indoor and outdoor dining. Its menu offers a variety of Midwest and regional cuisine, including Madeline shrimp pasta, roasted prime rib, Kansas City strip and toasted ravioli. Its house specialty is a 20-ounce double rib pork chop stuffed with rosemary apple dressing and topped with poivrade sauce. The restaurant also has a full-service bar with domestic and draft beers, microbrews and house wines. Hannegan's is named for one of Missouri's leading New Deal politicians, St. Louis' 'big boss' Robert E. Hannegan. Each table or booth displays a plaque inscribed with the name of a senator who voted to repeal Prohibition.
