Founded in 2005, Hanwha L&C Alabama is a subsidiary of Hanwha, a Korean company. Located in Opelika, Ala., it manufactures automotive products made of glass fiber mat reinforced thermoplastic (GMT) and expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam. Formerly known earlier as Maxforma Plastics LLC, Hanwha L&C Alabama is part of the automotive division of Hanwha L&C Corporation. Hanwha L&C Corporation is one of the world leaders in the manufacturing of construction materials, such as plastic floor materials and artificial marble, automotive components.
