East Metro Integration District consists of the Harambee Community Cultures/Environmental Science School and Crosswinds East Metro Arts & Science School. The district s Harambee Community Cultures/Environmental Science School is a year-round magnet school serving students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides classes in math, music, literacy, science, English, social studies, community cultures and physical education. East Metro Integration District s school also offers nonverbal ability and English language learner proficiency test, as well as diagnostic reading assessment. Its Crosswinds East Metro Arts & Science School is a year-round school program where urban and suburban students, families and staff come together to explore, create and learn.
