Founded in 1970, Animal Protective Association?s Harmony House for Cats is an eco-friendly cageless no-kill shelter, dedicated to rescuing and placing injured and stray cats. Every cat and kitten is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to their adoption. Opened in July 2012, Harmony House's new adoption center is Platinum LEED-NC certified, and showcases our cats for adoption in Chicago's greenest shelter. New volunteers, adopters and supporters are always welcome!
