Located in Houston, Aldine Health Center provides a range of medical services to more than 45,000 people. It offers pediatric, podiatry, dental, nutrition, health education, psychiatry and counseling services. The center also operates an on-site pharmacy. Aldine Health Center is owned and operated by the Harris County Hospital District, which manages various community health centers, clinics and other medical units. Founded in 1965, the district also provides a variety of health education programs. It organizes classes on childbirth, parenting, sexuality and physical fitness. The district offers health promotion classes in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. Additionally, the Harris County Hospital District organizes health fairs at churches and other civic locations.
