Founded in 1915, Hawken School is an independent, coeducational college preparatory day school serving 972 students in preschool through grade 12 from nine counties in Northeast Ohio. The Lyndhurst Campus provides a safe, nurturing atmosphere for our Lower School students. It allows eighth graders to feel like they are stepping up to high school, while retaining their allegiance to Hawken – which may explain why we have among the highest retention rate for rising ninth graders in the country.
Hawken offers a diverse student body of boys and girls from all over Northeast Ohio.
