Founded in 2003, the Haynes Middle Health/Medical Science Design Center is a school that serves more than 370 students in grades five through eight. The school offers sports participation in cheerleading, basketball, volleyball, track and field and football. It is a design center that has a specialized program focused on health and medical science. The Haynes Middle Health/Medical Science Design Center organizes science and social studies fairs. The school also offers various student clubs, including school spirit and spelling bee. It provides opportunities to participate in several organizations, such as student council and the Health Occupation Students Of America. The school offers classes for Spanish, algebra and physical science.
