Established in 1981, Hazelden Center for Youth and Families is a provider of various treatment and therapy services for adolescent men and women suffering from alcohol and drug abuse. It provides a wide range of services, such as assessment and evaluation and testing programs for young adults. Its treatment and recovery programs are designed to address young people needs and help them to bring back their healthy lives. It also offers parent program that educates parents and caregivers about chemical dependency and its effects on the entire family. It additionally provides mental health services that deal with the treatment of depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress and marital issues. Its care team includes chemical dependency counselors, family specialists, psychiatrists and psychologists, doctors, nurses, spiritual care professionals and recreational specialists.
