Established in 1863, Heald College is a nonprofit, coeducational institution. It is a regionally approved, private career college that has been preparing students for careers in business, technology and health care for more than 140 years. It offers various programs, including associate degrees in applied sciences, associate of arts degrees, short-term diplomas and certifications. The college has grown from one campus in San Francisco to more than 10 campuses throughout the western United States in California, Oregon and Hawaii. Heald College is approved by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Its graduates have been hired by various companies, such as the Wells Fargo, State Farm and SBC.
