The Health Science Center at Brooklyn Foundation is a nonprofit organization that operates, manages and promotes education-related activities for the students and faculty of the Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn in New York. It receives and manages bequests, donations, endowments, charitable unitrusts and other funds. The foundation funds faculty recruitment, consulting, scholarships, community relations, academic programs and other institutional needs. Incorporated in 1976, the Health Science Center at Brooklyn Foundation provides bookkeeping and banking services to the institution. It also operates a parking lot.
