Established in 1929, Hiawatha Golf Course features various mature trees, small greens and fairways. It is an 18-hole regulation golf course that includes more than 10 ponds, as well as over 30 sand traps. The course organizes various golf tournaments. Hiawatha Golf Course also offers opportunities for cross-country skiing. It administers various junior golf camps and leagues. The course also provides leagues for men, women and couples. In addition, Hiawatha Golf Course conducts golf programs. It has been recognized as one of the best golf courses by City Pages. The golf course is owned and operated by Hiawatha Golf Club.
