Highland Elementary School, located in Apple Valley, Minn., offers education to students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as media, physical education, technology, English, mathematics, science, special education, and fine and language arts. In addition, it offers training classes in reading, writing and spelling. The school provides a wide variety of sports activities that include basketball, football, wrestling, softball, golf, cross country, soccer, tennis and track. The extracurricular activities provided by the school include picnic, field trips, party celebrations, art shows, story telling, music and band.
