Highland Park Junior High School offers academic classes to students in grades seven and eight. It has an enrollment of more than 800 students and provides educational programs in a variety of subjects, such as art, computer, health, math, music, physical and special education, science, English and foreign languages. The school provides specialized courses in world languages, including American sign language, Chinese, French and Spanish. In addition, it offers classes in cooking, sewing, parenting and consumerism. The school s amenities include cafeteria, library, media center, auditorium, gymnasium, and computer and art labs. It also organizes various after-school activities, such as soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, baseball and badminton coaching.
