Maintaining a location in Akron, Ohio, the HOPE Academy is a part of HOPE Academies, which are community schools established under Chapter 3314 of the revised code. Students enrolled in and attending the schools are required to take proficiency tests and other examinations prescribed by the law. Managed by the White Hat Management, these community schools serve children between the ages of 5 to 17 years in kindergarten through grade 11. HOPE Academies schools also serve children with disabilities. HOPE Academies operates more than 10 schools throughout Akron, Canton, Cincinnati and Cleveland in Ohio. Its schools serve more than 4,800 students.
