In 1981, Hospice of Southern Kentucky opened and started serving the 9 county area surrounding Bowling Green. In 2008, with help from community sponsors, we opened our doors to Southern Kentucky's only free standing in-patient facility known as the "Hospice House". The Hospice House is a state of the art facility that has a full medical staff around the clock and is equipted to care for 10 patients. Each patient has a private room and overlooks a beautiful horse farm. Depending upon patient needs, hospice services may include, In-home skilled nursing care, Emotional support, Pain and symptom control, Equipment, Health Care Aides to assist with personal hygiene, Coordination with other community resources, Pastoral counseling and bereavement counseling. HSK has been the leader in hospice care in Southern Kentucky for over 30 years and will continue to take care of your families as if they were our own. Whether its your home or our Hospice House we will be there to give your loved ones the care that they deserve.
