Founded in 1977, Hospice of the Valley brings comfort and dignity to terminally ill patients. The organization helps each patient and family with end-of-life transitions as well as helps patients stay pain-free, comfortable and fully engaged. It provides educational programs; clinical programs that provide care for cancer, dementia, congestive heart failure and pulmonary disease; a host of innovative programs and services addressing community needs; and an in-depth bereavement support with programs to help through the process of grief. Arizona Nurses Association and the Arizona Medical Association have accredited Hospice of the Valley to provide continuing education as well as continuing medical education.
