Hot Wheel System wheel repair started in 2007 by Loren "Gibby" Gibson. Gibby and his brother Greg have been involved with Internet advertising for car dealers throughout Maine & New England since 1996. Gibby started and still owns & operates the popular auto portal NewEnglandAutoMall.com. Gibby thought wheel repair would be a great service to offer to his existing car dealer customers but realized quickly that because so many people drove trucks and SUV's in Maine instead of cars with low profile tires, etc., that his wheel repair market was very limited.
Greg, who moved to Tampa in 2005 and was currently Internet Sales Manager for Mercedes Benz of Tampa always had a love for custom paint work and suggested to his brother that the two of them set up a wheel repair shop in Tampa. Gibby agreed Florida was the right market! Greg then quit his job, flew to Maine, met with his brother Gibby to hammer out the details, packed up all the wheel repair supplies into a spare company work truck and drove back to Tampa and Hot Wheel System wheel repair was born!!!
