Affirmative Action and Contract Compliance (AACC) promotes equal access and economic opportunity at every level of City government. It provides quality certification, compliance, business development and training programs. The division monitors the payment of prevailing wages on city and federally-funded construction contracts. It advocates for the rights and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. The division provides training, information, and management and technical assistance to small- and medium-sized business owners. It provides comprehensive regulatory assistance and counseling for new and existing businesses.
