The HSC Pediatric Center operates exclusively to provide rehabilitation and transitional care to children and adolescents from infancy through twenty-one years of age. The nonprofit hospital is one of approximately twenty facilities nationwide to offer such services. The HSCPC has pediatricians, physiatrists, child life specialists, psychologists, nutritionists, audiologists and pharmacists. The facility also employs occupational, physical, recreational, respiratory and speech/language therapists. The HSC Pediatric Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and the Commission for Rehabilitation Accreditation.
