Huntley & Huntley, which was founded in 1912 under the name of Johnson & Huntley, was established for the purpose of conducting general consulting in geology and engineering for the oil and gas industry. In 1922, the firm changed its name to Huntley & Huntley, and for the past 70 years, has performed general consulting work for all phases of the oil and gas industry, which includes exploration, development, supervision of drilling, well completion and geologic and economic feasibility studies for oil and natural gas storage projects. The firm has also served as a consultant to M. L. Benedum and has since advised prominent individuals in the energy, banking and financial businesses. Huntley & Huntley has supervised the drilling of more than 256 wells throughout the world. The company is based in Monroeville, Pa.
