Founded in 1964, Etz Chayim Synagogue practices Conservative Judaism. Located at Huntsville, Ala., the congregation is made of approximately 60 families. It runs various groups, such as a men's club, youth group and a sisterhood. Additionally, the Synagogue conducts religious educational programs for children, including The Kitah Gan curriculum and B'nai Mitzvot classes. Apart from these, members of the Etz Chayim Synagogue lay leadership, conduct Hebrew language classes, Jewish filmos projects as well as other initiatives.
