Hyperdynamics Corporation is a Houston-based oil and gas company whose operations include three wholly owned subsidiaries: SCS Corporation, HYD Resources Corporation and Trendsetter Production, which are focused on oil and gas exploration and production. Hyperdynamics manages the general administrative, financial and logistical support requirements of its wholly owned subsidiaries. The SCS subsidiary is developing a hydrocarbon concession that is located offshore the Republic of Guinea in West Africa. HYD Resources is primarily engaged in the operation of domestic drilling and exploration in the Southern United States. The company owns two drilling rigs, which are employed for contract fees, joint ventures and in-house projects.
