Idaho Small Business Development Center, also known as Idaho SBDC, is a university-based organization that provides various consulting and low-cost training services for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Established in 1986, the center offers technical and environmental regulatory assistance and business management services. With several office locations throughout Idaho, it serves private business, communities, and federal, state and local government entities. The center employs consultants who answer questions, discuss ideas, performs research, solve problems and provide guidance in the areas of capital acquisition, feasibility analysis, e-commerce, home-based businesses, human resources, international trade, and accounting and bookkeeping business plan development. It also offers assistance on various environmental issues that include air pollution and toxics, electroplating operations, food processing, and metal fabrication and machining. The center maintains a location in Boise, Idaho.
