Indianapolis Zoo

Indianapolis Zoo, founded in 1964, is a nonprofit organization that promotes wildlife conservation and manages wildlife parks, aquariums and White River botanic garden in Indiana. The zoo has more than 1,500 animals, such as macaws, black storks, capuchin monkeys, lemurs, leopards and zebra morel eels. The zoo organizes special educational and entertainment programs for children, including camps, classes and community programs. It is located in Indianapolis, and is accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association.
