Besides regular training classes, I.D.E.A’ s services range from coaching individuals & groups in entertainment, theatrics & dance at cultural, festive & social gatherings, like weddings, anniversaries, school & community projects, to leading teams at staff, sporting, fitness & corporate events.With a background of over 20 years in performance, dance teaching, research and choreography, a dance repertoire ranging from traditional Bollywood, Katthak, Regional Folk to infusions of modern western like hiphop, latin, jazz and rock n roll, along with creative musical script-writing & direction, Mumbai-born and educated Priya Chellani continues to create, teach, practice and perform with the same passion that initiated her into opening her academy in India in 1990. Having taught student groups in 3 other countries since then, extensively traveling and performing at prominent events throughout these places, she now brings to North Carolina her own brand of versatile dancing that combines creativity with tradition and technical finesse.
